When should the additional solar panel be installed?

It can be placed either in spring or summer, but it was primarily developed for autumn and winter weather. It is IMPORTANT that the device can store significantly more energy even in sunny weather using the additional solar cell. Therefore there is no need to worry about the device draining, not even in bad weather.

It is not enough to use only in cloudy weather. It is better to leave it connected to the device continuously in autumn and winter.

Why is it good to use an additional solar panel?

In autumn and winter, “the sun is lower in the sky”, so the angle of the sun’s rays also changes. Thus, the sun’s rays do not hit the horizontally placed solar panel on top of the devices strongly during every sunny hour. To eliminate this, we created this external charging option.

How should the additional solar panel be placed?

It is IMPORTANT that the solar panel should be oriented to the south, so it can achieve the best performance. Putting it out and connecting it to the device is very easy: just use the included cable ties to attach it to the device in a vertical or minimally tilted state on a column or watch. The stake or column on which the device is placed is absolutely perfect for this purpose. After fixing, it can be easily connected to the device using the connecting cable.
